Hi, I’m Christina- a neurodivergent occupational therapist, mom of three and the founder of Sensory TheraPLAY Box.

In 2016, I dreamed up the idea of a sensory toy subscription box. Since then, we've sent boxes to families all across the USA and Canada.

What started in my dining room quickly overflowed into my entire home and garage. When that got too full, I rented a space 30 minutes away and hired a small team to help with packing. Now, we ship from a fulfillment center just a few towns over. It's been a journey!

My goal has always been simple: to make sensory tools accessible for neurodivergent and autistic children- kids who process the world differently, feel deeply and filter less.

Over time, I realized the boxes were never just about the toys. They're about about the experience- the joy of a surprise package arriving each month, something families can count on and look forward to.

Sensory toys can be incredibly regulating for the nervous system, offering the input children’s bodies naturally crave. That’s why each month, I thoughtfully curate a new box filled with a variety of toys designed to support calm, focus, and regulation.
